FLORES DAY 4
Early morning, already, at 5 am we were on our way to the volcano
Kelimutu and its three colourful lakes.
The walk up to Kelimutu was nice not so hot, fresh air and a beautiful
view. On the way back we passed several small villages and rice farms that we
did not see at all in the darkness on our way up. After breakfast and some rest
we travelled back to Maumere, about 4 hours on very small, hilly and curvy
roads. Half way we stopped for lunch in a small hot and dry village and then we
continued along the coast until we reached a Beach resort just west of Maumere.
We got a small bungalow just by the beach and the pool and we could look forward
to one day of just relaxing and preparing our presentation in Kuching.
