DAY 2 FLORES
Today started with a traditional Indonesian breakfast with tofu, tempe and rice. After breakfast we got familiar with the activities in the village. They showed us all their processes from picking the cotton and natural dye plants to spinning, dyeing and weaving. Craft is somehow universal so the understanding without a common language is not a big problem. After lunch we visited another craft village, the people there welcomed us with a traditional Indonesian ceremony and showed us their works in spinning, natural dye and weaving.
I left Sweden a few days ago but after today it seems like weeks, there
are so many impressions and a totally new every day life.
